Project Eat More Chocolot

Project Eat More Chocolot, 2005, book and candy bars, 6” x 9” book, mixed materials, edible ink and wafer

Project Eat More Chocolot is a personal experiment conducted to provide evidence to the age-old theory that eating chocolate creates acne. In this study, I used my face as a testing ground to provide documentation over the course of one week of excessive binging of chocolate. The binging resulted in an acne-covered face that appears on each portion of my handmade candy bar named Chocolot. A second version of this project was completed when I ate the first handmade candy bar, thus eating images of my acne covered face repeatedly. The result was more acne. Documentation of the project is displayed as a hand-bound weekly planner for the project.
